Evening events are between 5-11 pm.

Day time functions between 9 am -5 pm

What is the cost to rent the space?

For cocktail functions the gallery rents for $250/hr with a minimum of 2hrs. Weddings rent for $250/hr with a minimum of 4hrs. Any evening event that is 4+ hours there will be an additional $100 cleaning fee applied.

All rental fees include an Event Assistant required to be onsite during your event. Your Event Assistant can also assist with serving/bartending. Gratuities are for you to decide.

Deposit for rental?

The gallery requires a non-refundable $100 deposit to save the date of your venue rental. To reserve a date please contact us at hello@fortunegallery.ca.

Cancellation policy?

Payment is required one week before the event. If cancellation happens after the payment a cancellation fee of 50% is applied.

May I serve liquor during my rental?

fortune gallery is not licensed for the sale or service of liquor. It is the renters responsibility to obtain a special event permit , which is available online through the BC Liquor Control Branch. The SEP must be presented to fortune gallery prior to the event. Your caterer can also serve liquor on your behalf through their transportable catering license. In this case, you are not required to apply for a SEP.

Does the Rental Fee include catering?

Fees do not include food, beverage, linens, glasses, cutlery, servers, music, or equipment rentals. Catering, including food, bar service, tables, linens, cutlery, china and glasses, decor, music, and waste removal are the renters’ or their caterers’ responsibility. All items must be removed from the gallery immediately following the function. Special arrangements can be made for next-day pick-ups.

Included in the Rental?

With each rental we have available 4 bar stools, 18 fold out chairs and two six foot fold out tables, two card tables and 3 full size plinths. In the upstairs loft we offer lounge furniture.
